9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

We invite you to join us for Hilton Head Island's inaugural 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony, as we come together to honor and remember the brave souls who lost their lives on that fateful day.

Let us unite in solidarity and pay tribute to the heroes and victims of the September 11th attacks. Together, we will stand strong and show that their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

We commemorate 9/11 to remember and honor the lives lost and affected by the tragic events that took place on September 11, 2001. The terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon, and Flight 93 serve as a stark reminder of the devastating impact of terrorism and the importance of promoting peace, unity, and resilience. Commemorating 9/11 allows us to collectively reflect on the bravery of first responders, the resilience of survivors, and the strength of communities coming together in the face of adversity. It also serves as a way to pay tribute to the victims and their families, fostering a sense of remembrance, solidarity, and a commitment to preventing future acts of terrorism.

Stay tuned for more updates and details as we plan this important event. Please help us spread the word by sharing this invite with anyone you believe should be included. Let's come together as a community to honor the memories of those we lost and support one another.

A special note of gratitude to Hilton Head Island Fire Chief and Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue for planning this solemn and meaningful ceremony. Their dedication and commitment to our community are truly commendable.
