Calling all community champions! As we Celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Town's incorporation and the 360th anniversary of our Island's sighting, we invite you tour Hilton Head Island's Habitat for Humanity Community.

Let's shine a spotlight on a pivotal aspect that has been a buzz of conversation over the last 40 years: Workforce Housing.

Join us on September 12th, from 12:30pm to 2pm, to explore the enduring legacy of Hilton Head's Habitat for Humanity. Brenda Dooley, CEO of Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry, and Steve Riley, the Former Town Manager of the Town of Hilton Head Island, will be your guides, your storytellers, and your inspiration for the walk.

Brenda and Steve will share the history of Habitat's public/private partnership and how it has been a catalyst for building community on our Island. Witness firsthand how this remarkable endeavor has touched the lives of working families on our beloved island.

Explore why affordable housing is a cornerstone of Hilton Head Island, connecting its past to its thriving present and promising future. Feel the pulse of a community that cares, unites, and that shines as a beacon of hope for generations to come!

We kindly request you bring along your water bottles to stay hydrated and comfortable shoes.
