Free Concert - A Songwriter's Journey Through History

Live music at the library! Join us for a Free concert event on Friday, September 8th at 3pm with musician and songwriter Angela Easterling!

Angela Easterling and her musical partner Brandon Turner will perform "A Songwriter's Journey Through American Music" at the Hilton Head library! Registration is encouraged, so be sure to include your friends and family! You do not need to be a library member to attend this free concert.

Angela will perform her own original songs interspersed with selections of classic folk, roots, and country tunes. As part of her concert, she discusses the craft of songwriting and tells the stories behind her songs and how they came to be, weaving in some of the history of roots music and the artists who have influenced her writing. Her duo partner, Brandon Turner, provides descriptive demonstrations of blues music and different styles of blues guitar.
